Changing service
You can change the options on a broadband professional services, adding or removing enhanced care or premium whenever you like. To order a change simply log in to the control pages for your line and select the required regrade. There is no charge for add the service, and it usually happens within a day. There is no minimum term for these services, but there is a charge of £10.00 for removing a service. When you order a charge or credit is also calculated to allow for the number of days that have changed and previously billed.
Changing settings
There are various line settings which support can change for you, including uplink capping and line stability. It is also possible to change your line between ADSL1 and ADSL2+ which is useful if you an other router which does not work with ADSL+ correctly. To order a change simply log in to the control pages for your line and select the required change. Older customers not on new tariffs just ask support to make any changes.
Changing tariff
You can change tariff at any time. Changing between Basic and Professional services or changing the amount of peak or off peak usage allowance on our professional tariff at any time. To change to our Basic tariff you have to meet the requirements for the service. To order a change log in to the broadband control pages for your line and select the required regrade. Tariff changes take effect from your next regular bill. There is no charge to change tariff.
Note: Customers on our older Max tariffs can also request changes including changing between the Max tariffs (see old tariffs). These older tariffs are being phased out as services are upgraded to 21st Century network.
